At Scheck, our safety recognitions are a representation of the tireless
efforts of our management and field personnel to ensure that all of our
employees return home safely every day.
Our Safety, Health, and Environmental Program Manual has been constantly
revised through the years to comply with OSHA, EPA, and other government/local
standards. Our “J.A.W.S.” program (Job Aids for Working Safely) contains
the information, procedures, and forms that our managers and supervisors
need to safely perform their work.
Each employee receives a copy of our Employee SH&E Handbook and is
trained on its contents. Our SH&E Department conducts specialized
training required when our workers are assigned to high risk projects
due to toxics, flammables, confined spaces, high work, or complex energy
Initial comprehensive Job Safety Analyses (JSA)/Risk Mitigation Plans
(RMP) are prepared for every project. These JSAs/RMPs are reviewed with
the site supervisors to assure that they understand the hazards involved
and our mitigation plans.
